Run for Ukraine”: Pharmpur employees donate to children in war zones
Due to Corona, it had become a bit quiet around the Pharmpur runner team, which regularly takes part in the M-Net company run (LINK) – until a call from the “viRace” team reached our runners.
“viRace”, an app with which you can take part in virtual runs and events, organizes the “Run for Ukraine” together with the children’s charity UNICEF. In no time at all, the group of nine participants woke up from hibernation and completed this run for a good cause in the best spring weather.
Sports enthusiasts can still participate throughout March. (LINK to the viRace page) Participants pay an entry fee and can then take part in a virtual 5-kilometer run. All of the money thus collected is then donated to UNICEF to help children and their families in Ukraine. Pharmpur was happy to support this spontaneous campaign and contributed 100 euros per runner to the donation.
A sign of solidarity that will hopefully find many imitators.
